P*Q methodology for casualty business

The consumer casualty division of the Delta Lloyd group handles non-life insurance for the Ohra and Delta Lloyd brands. In this project, Susanne researched the possibility of introducing a P * Q system to increase cost transparency when billing services to the labels.

Task description

Identified handling costs per non-life insurance policy, and developed a P (Price) * Q (Quantity) methodology.

Approach

Led project team in design of a cost model in SAS ABM. Set up a methodology for cost pricing of non-life products. Using interviews and workshops, analysed the processes in the insurance chain.
