Costing methodology

The existing cost-price model within the Raad van de Kinderbescherming (Child Protection Board) needed revising. The objective of the pilot was to draft a plan of action, whereby these revisions could be accomplished in a structured and feasible way.

Task description

Carried out a pilot study into the design and phasing of a cost-price model for the civil and criminal branches of the board. Identified the desired design, measuring methodology and approach.

Approach

Carried out preliminary interviews with those involved, concerning the design of the cost-price methodology. Discussed the different phasing options in workshops, ensured collective decision-making and produced a plan of action. Drew up a phased cost-price model for the civil and criminal branches of the board, and developed an approach for the tender issue.
